Tech Pack Services Built by a Real Apparel Factory
Linushi’s tech pack services turn your sketches, samples, or reference photos into complete, production-ready apparel tech packs — the technical blueprint every clothing manufacturer needs to sample and produce your design right the first time. And because we’re the factory too, your spec flows straight from document to sampling to bulk.
What Is A Tech Pack
The One Document Your Factory Can’t Build Without
A tech pack is a single technical document that tells a factory exactly how to build your garment — every measurement, material, seam, trim, color, and label in one place. It is the bridge between a design idea and a finished product, and it is what keeps your sample and your bulk run consistent.
Linushi builds that document the way a factory actually reads it. Our team drafts the flat technical sketches, bill of materials, graded measurements, and construction call-outs that our own production floor uses every day — so nothing gets lost in translation between you, the pattern room, and the sewing line.
Most tech pack providers hand you a PDF and disappear. We can take the same spec and sample and manufacture it in-house from just 30 pieces, with free mockups before you commit.
How It Works
How We Build Your Tech Pack
Brief & References
Send a sketch, a photo, a reference garment, or even just a description. We run a short development consultation to lock the design intent before any drafting begins.
Drawing & BOM
We draw clean flat technicals (front, back, side, detail call-outs) and build the bill of materials — fabrics, GSM, trims, threads, and hardware with supplier-ready detail.
Measure & Grade
We set the points of measure, grade across your full size run, and add tolerance levels so the factory knows the acceptable variance for every spec.
Construct & Hand Off
We add seam and stitch call-outs, artwork placement, label and packaging notes, then deliver an editable file plus a print-ready PDF — ready to sample.

Compare
Tech Pack vs. Spec Sheet
People use the terms interchangeably, but they are not the same document. A spec sheet is usually one page inside a full tech pack — useful, but not enough to safely run bulk.
Full Tech Pack
- Complete production blueprint for sampling and bulk.
- Technical sketches, BOM, grading, construction, labels, packaging.
- Tolerances and points of measure for repeatable fit.
- Understood by overseas factory staff, language aside.
- Suitable to take to any manufacturer worldwide.
Spec Sheet Only
- A simplified reference — often just measurements.
- Little or no construction, trim, or label detail.
- Leaves guesswork between measurement points.
- Risks extra sampling rounds and inconsistent bulk.
- Fine for internal notes, not for handing to a factory.
The verdict: for anything you intend to manufacture — especially offshore — a full tech pack pays for itself in fewer sample rounds and fewer costly production errors.

FAQ
Tech Pack Services — Common Questions
What’s included in your tech pack services?
Each tech pack includes flat technical sketches (front, back, side), CAD colorways with Pantone matching, a full bill of materials, a graded measurement spec sheet with points of measure and tolerances, construction and stitch call-outs, an artwork and print sheet, label and branding placement, and packaging notes — delivered as an editable file plus a print-ready PDF.
How are tech pack services different from a spec sheet?
A spec sheet is usually a simplified document — often just basic measurements or materials. A tech pack is the complete production document that adds construction, grading, trims, labels, and packaging, so a factory can sample and produce accurately. A spec sheet is normally one page inside a full tech pack.
Can you make a tech pack from a sketch, photo, or existing sample?
Yes. We can build a tech pack from a rough sketch, reference photos, a mood board, or an existing garment you want documented. Starting from a physical sample makes the measurements faster and more accurate, but it is not required.
Do I need a tech pack before manufacturing?
For overseas production it is effectively essential — it protects your specification and cuts costly sampling rounds. Some local factories can begin from a sketch, but development is not their main role, and a clear tech pack keeps your fit and quality consistent across runs.
Do I need a separate tech pack for each size or color?
No. One tech pack covers all of your sizes through grading and all of your colorways through Pantone-referenced color sheets. You only need a new tech pack for a genuinely different style.
How long do tech pack services take?
A typical single style is delivered in about one business day. More complex, highly technical garments with many panels, pockets, and trims may take a little longer; revisions are handled quickly from your feedback.
Do I own the tech pack and the design rights?
Yes. Once your project is paid in full, the tech pack and the design are yours. You can keep them on file or take them to any manufacturer you choose — we simply hope you produce with us.
Can Linushi also manufacture from the tech pack?
Yes — that is our advantage. We are a custom apparel OEM / ODM factory in Sialkot, so the same tech pack flows straight into sampling and bulk production from a 30-piece MOQ, with private-label options and worldwide shipping.
