Cut & Sew Cargo Program

Custom Cargo Pant Manufacturing

Custom cargo pant manufacturing means your silhouette, fabric, pocket layout, and hardware are developed from scratch — not relabeled blanks.

Cargos are the most construction-heavy garment in a streetwear line — more panels, pockets, bartacks, and hardware than any tee or hoodie — and that fit block, pocket engineering, and stacking length are what make a drop recognizable. As a full cut and sew manufacturer, we build your pattern from a tech pack or reference sample; if you don’t have documentation yet, our tech pack services team creates it with you before sampling.

The result: cargos that carry your brand’s exact fit, weight, wash, and details — developed once, reordered consistently.

Fabric Engineering

Cargo Pant Fabrics & GSM Options

Fabric weight defines how a cargo drapes, stacks, and survives daily wear.

TW

Cotton Twill · 240–300 GSM

The streetwear default — diagonal weave with structure and softness, ideal for baggy and wide-leg silhouettes, and takes washes beautifully.

RS

Ripstop · 180–240 GSM

Grid-reinforced weave that resists tearing at a lighter weight — the techwear choice. Cotton, poly-cotton, and nylon blends, with optional water-repellent finishing.

CV

Canvas & Heavyweight · 300–400 GSM

Dense plain weave for workwear-inspired cargos that stand on their own — maximum abrasion resistance with a rigid break-in character.

Every base can be finished pre-shrunk, enzyme-washed, stone-washed, garment-dyed, or acid washed, with 2–4% elastane stretch variants available. Swatches ship before sampling so you approve the handfeel first.

Fit Development

Styles, Fits & Customization

Every block is drafted to your measurements and graded across your full size run.

  • Fits: baggy, stacked, wide-leg, straight, relaxed, tapered, and slim blocks
  • Pockets: flap, zip, snap, Velcro, hidden, and 3D bellows — count and placement to your spec
  • Waistbands: fixed with belt loops, elasticated, drawcord, or adjustable snap-tab constructions
  • Hems: open, elastic cuff, drawcord, snap-adjust, and extended stacked lengths
  • Construction: bartacked stress points, triple-needle seams, gussets, reinforced knees
  • Hardware: custom zips, snaps, D-rings, and branded pullers or shanks
  • Color: Pantone-matched dye lots so reorders match your first drop exactly
  • Sizing: XS–3XL graded to US and European standards, extended sizes on request

Inside the Factory

How Cargo Pant Manufacturing Works

Tech Pack & Pattern

Your tech pack, sketches, or reference sample becomes a production pattern — fit block, pocket geometry, and hardware map confirmed before cutting.

Fabric & Costing

Base fabric, GSM, wash, trims, and decoration are locked with swatches and a transparent per-unit quote across your size run.

Sampling & Fit

Samples ship in 7–14 days per round; most programs approve within 2–3 rounds.

Bulk, QC & Ship

Bulk runs 3–5 weeks with inline and final inspection — seams, bartacks, measurements, wash consistency — then door-to-door delivery worldwide.

Honest Comparison

Custom vs Blanks vs Print-on-Demand

CU

Custom Cut & Sew

Your fit, fabric, pockets, wash, and labels — a garment nobody else can stock. More development up front, but full ownership, real margins, and consistent reorders.

BL

Decorated Blanks

Fast and cheap for tees — but quality cargo blanks barely exist. Stock cargos are commodity workwear cuts, so your brand is limited to a patch on a silhouette anyone can buy.

PD

Print-on-Demand

Zero inventory risk, but POD catalogs effectively don’t offer cargos — multi-pocket woven construction can’t be made one unit at a time. A dead end for a bottoms line.

Blanks and POD can validate a logo — but once cargos enter your line plan, custom is the only route at retail quality, and a 30-piece minimum lets you take it from your first drop.

Questions, Answered

Cargo Pant Manufacturing FAQ

What is the minimum order quantity for custom cargo pants?

Linushi is a cargo pant manufacturer built for emerging brands, so the minimum order is just 30 pieces per design. You can split those 30 pieces across a full size run, test a single colourway, and reorder once the drop sells through — no 100–300 piece commitment required.

How much does it cost to manufacture custom cargo pants?

Unit cost depends on fabric type and GSM, pocket count and construction complexity, washes, decoration coverage, trims, and total volume — cargos carry more panels and bartacks than most garments, so complexity matters. Send your tech pack for an exact quote within 24–48 hours.

Do I need a tech pack to start production?

A tech pack is ideal but not required. You can send a reference sample, detailed sketches, or photos with measurements, and our development team will build the pattern and a full spec sheet with you before sampling begins.

How long do sampling and bulk production take?

Each sample round takes 7–14 days, and most cargo programs are approved within 2–3 rounds. Bulk production runs 3–5 weeks after sample approval, depending on order size, fabric availability, and finishing requirements.

What GSM is best for streetwear cargo pants?

Most streetwear cargos use 240–300 GSM cotton twill for structure and durability. Choose 180–240 GSM ripstop for lighter technical styles, and 300–400 GSM canvas for heavyweight, workwear-inspired silhouettes. We ship fabric swatches before sampling so you can confirm the weight and handfeel first.

Can you produce private label cargo pants under my brand?

Yes. Every order can ship fully private label — woven waist labels, size and care labels, hangtags, and branded polybags. Your patterns and artwork belong to you completely and are never reused.

Do you ship cargo pants to the USA, UK, and Europe?

Yes. We ship worldwide via express couriers and freight partners, with door-to-door delivery across the USA, UK, and Europe. Export documentation is handled for you, and tracking is shared as soon as your order leaves the factory.

Can you customize pockets, hardware, and stitching?

Fully. Pocket count, placement, and closures — flap, zip, snap, or Velcro — plus waistbands, drawcords, hardware, contrast stitching, bartacks, and reinforcements are all developed to your spec. Pocket engineering is where a custom cargo truly separates from blanks.
