Custom Bomber Jacket Manufacturing

Linushi manufactures fully custom bomber jackets — your silhouette, shell fabric, rib trims, lining and labels — from a 30-piece minimum, not relabeled blanks.

Every program is true cut and sew: body length, sleeve volume, rib heights and pocket placement follow your design, not a stock pattern. Send a tech pack, or start from a reference sample or sketches and our tech pack service will build the production spec with you.

Materials That Match Your Price Point

Bomber Jacket Fabrics & GSM Options

Shell choice sets the character of a bomber — here are the constructions we run most, with real weights.

NY

Nylon & Poly Shells

Flight-satin nylon for the classic MA-1 gloss and drape; matte Taslan and microfiber polyester when you want easier printability; structured poly twill at 180–240 GSM for everyday bombers; ripstop for a technical, outdoor read. Optional DWR coating for wind and light-rain resistance.

WL

Wool, Twill & Satin

Melton wool bodies at 450–550 GSM for varsity and letterman bombers (contrast PU or leather-look sleeves available); heavyweight cotton twill at 350–400 GSM for garment-washed casual cuts; 190T–210T polyester satin for souvenir-style and luxe fashion drops.

IN

Linings & Insulation

Diamond-quilted linings with 100–200 GSM polyfill, brushed fleece or sherpa around 280 GSM for winter drops, and smooth satin or mesh for lightweight shells. Rib collar, cuffs and hem in recovery-tested 2×2 poly-spandex knit, dyed to match or contrast.

Finishes on request: pre-shrunk ribs, garment wash, garment-dye and enzyme softening — confirmed on strike-offs before bulk.

From Tech Pack to Shipped Cartons

How Bomber Jacket Manufacturing Works

Tech Pack & Fit Block

We review your tech pack, sample or sketches, then lock the silhouette, fit block and construction.

Fabric, Trims & Costing

Shell, lining, insulation, ribs and zips are sourced and lab-dipped; you get a per-unit quote before anything is cut.

Sampling & Fit Approval

Pre-production samples in 7–14 days per round; most bombers are approved within 2–3 rounds of fit and detail revisions.

Bulk, QC & Shipping

Bulk runs in 3–5 weeks with in-line and final inspection — stitching, zips, rib recovery, print adhesion — then worldwide dispatch.

An Honest Comparison

Custom vs Blanks vs Print-on-Demand

Decorated Blanks

Fast and cheap for validating a graphic — but the cut, fabric and labels belong to the blank brand, fits are generic, and margins stay thin because anyone can buy the same jacket.

Print-on-Demand

Zero inventory and zero upfront cost — genuinely great for a first drop. But bomber options are scarce on POD catalogs, decoration is print-only, unit costs are the highest of the three, and QC is out of your hands.

Custom Manufacturing

Your own pattern, shell, ribs, labels and packaging — a product competitors can’t restock. Most factories ask 100+ pieces; at Linushi it starts at 30, so the jump from validation to a real branded bomber is small.

If blanks or POD proved your design sells, custom production at a 30-piece MOQ is the natural next step — a jacket that is actually yours.

Answers Before You Ask

Bomber Jacket Manufacturing FAQ

What is your minimum order quantity for custom bomber jackets?

As a bomber jacket manufacturer built around emerging brands, Linushi runs a standard MOQ of 30 pieces per style. You can split those pieces across a size range, and colorway minimums are agreed per fabric during quoting.

How much does it cost to manufacture a bomber jacket?

Cost depends on the shell fabric, lining and insulation level, construction complexity (reversible builds and heavy paneling cost more), decoration methods and order volume. We quote per design from your tech pack or reference images, so you always see the real number for your exact jacket.

Do I need a tech pack to start?

No. A tech pack speeds things up, but many brands start with a reference sample, sketches or even detailed photos. Our team can develop the full production tech pack with you before sampling begins.

How long do sampling and bulk production take?

Pre-production samples take 7 to 14 days per round, and most bomber designs are approved within 2 to 3 rounds. Bulk production then takes 3 to 5 weeks after sample approval, depending on quantity and fabric lead times.

What fabrics and GSM do you recommend for bomber jackets?

Flight-satin nylon or matte poly for classic MA-1 styles, 180 to 240 GSM poly twill for structured everyday bombers, 350 to 400 GSM cotton twill for washed casual cuts, and 450 to 550 GSM melton wool for varsity bodies. Quilted linings typically carry 100 to 200 GSM polyfill, with around 280 GSM fleece or sherpa for winter versions.

Can you produce fully private label bomber jackets?

Yes. Every jacket can ship with your woven neck and hem labels, printed size and care labels, hangtags and retail packaging. Your designs, patterns and artwork remain your intellectual property.

Do you ship to the USA, UK and Europe?

Yes. Most of our bomber jacket orders ship to the USA, the UK and Europe via tracked express or freight, and we ship worldwide. Export documentation is handled by our team.

Can you make padded, quilted or reversible bomber jackets?

Yes. We build unlined shells, light quilted bombers, padded winter versions with 100 to 200 GSM fill, and fully reversible jackets with branding on both faces. Insulation level is specified per style during development.
