Worldwide OEM / ODM Apparel Factory
OEM Clothing Manufacturer Built Around Your Designs
Linushi is an OEM clothing manufacturer producing custom apparel strictly to your designs, tech packs and specs — full private-label ownership, in-house cut & sew and decoration, from a low 30-piece MOQ per style.
What It Means
What Is an OEM Clothing Manufacturer?
An OEM clothing manufacturer (Original Equipment Manufacturer) is a factory that produces garments strictly to a brand’s own designs, tech packs and specifications — the brand owns the concept and the intellectual property, and the factory handles sourcing, cutting, sewing, decoration and finishing.
Put simply: you bring the blueprint, we build it. That’s different from ODM, where the factory offers ready-made styles to rebrand, and from CMT, where you supply every fabric and trim yourself. As a full OEM partner, Linushi manages the whole run — fabric sourcing, pattern making, sampling, bulk production and packing — so your team stays focused on design and selling.
The result is apparel that is fully yours: your fit, your fabric weight, your labels, your hangtags — with no shared designs and no generic blanks.
Production Workflow
How the OEM Process Works
Tech Pack & Sourcing
You send designs, measurements and a tech pack — or we help build one. We source the exact fabrics, trims and hardware to your spec and return a costing.
Sampling & Fit
We produce a pre-production sample and strike-offs. Expect 2–3 iterative rounds to lock fit, fabric weight, colour and construction before any bulk is cut.
Bulk Cut & Sew
Once the sample is approved, your run enters the line: grading, cutting, stitching, then decoration — print, embroidery or wash — all handled in-house.
QC, Label & Ship
Inline and final inspection on every order. We attach your labels and hangtags, fold, poly-bag and carton, then ship worldwide with tracking.

Pick the Right Model
OEM vs ODM vs Private Label
The three models differ mainly in who owns the design. Linushi runs all three, so you can start fast and move to full ownership as you grow.
OEM — Your Design
You own the blueprint. You supply designs and tech packs; we build to spec. Maximum control, exclusivity and IP ownership — the gold standard for a proprietary fit. Best for brands with a defined aesthetic. Trade-off: more development time up front.
ODM — Our Base Design
We supply the base style. You choose from ready silhouettes and customise fabric, colour, labels and trims. Faster and lower-cost since patterns already exist. Best for quick market testing. Trade-off: the base design isn’t exclusive to you.
Private Label / CMT
Branding on proven blanks (or you supply materials). Private label rebrands existing garments under your name; CMT means you send the fabric and we cut, make and trim. Lowest barrier to launch. Trade-off: least design differentiation.
Many brands blend models — ODM basics for speed, OEM for hero pieces. Explore our cut & sew manufacturing for full OEM builds.

Answers
OEM Clothing Manufacturer FAQ
What is an OEM clothing manufacturer?
An OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) clothing manufacturer is a factory that produces garments strictly to your designs, tech packs and specifications. You own the design and the intellectual property; the factory handles sourcing, cutting, sewing, decoration and finishing so the finished apparel is fully and exclusively yours.
What is the difference between OEM and ODM?
With OEM, you provide the original design and the factory builds it exactly to spec, so the product is exclusive to your brand. With ODM (Original Design Manufacturer), the factory offers ready-made base styles that you customise and rebrand — faster and cheaper, but the base design isn’t exclusive. Linushi offers both, so you can start on ODM and move to OEM as you grow.
Is OEM the same as private label?
Not quite. Private label usually means adding your branding to an existing (often ODM) garment. OEM means the garment is built from your own designs and patterns, so you control fit, fabric and construction — not just the label. OEM gives you exclusivity; private label gives you speed.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for OEM clothing?
Linushi’s MOQ is 30 pieces per style, which is startup-friendly — most OEM factories require 200 to 1,000+ pieces per design. You can split quantities across sizes and scale up per colourway as demand grows.
Do I need a tech pack to start OEM production?
A tech pack (with sketches, measurements, fabric specs, colours and construction notes) makes OEM production accurate and is strongly recommended. If you don’t have one yet, we can help develop it from your sketches, samples or reference garments before sampling begins.
How long does OEM clothing production take?
Timelines depend on garment complexity, sample rounds and volume. Sampling typically runs across 2–3 rounds, and bulk production follows once your sample is approved. Share your tech pack and target date and we’ll return a firm lead-time estimate with your quote.
Which garments and fabrics can you manufacture?
We produce hoodies, t-shirts, joggers, tracksuits, jackets, activewear, leggings, sportswear, polos, shorts and caps across a full fabric range — from light 140 GSM jersey to 300 GSM French terry and 400–500 GSM heavy fleece, in cotton, polyester, viscose, blends and performance knits.
Do you ship worldwide, and do you offer full private label?
Yes. We ship to the USA, UK, Europe, Australia and worldwide with tracking, and we provide full private label — custom neck labels, woven and printed tags, care labels, hangtags and branded packaging — so every touchpoint carries your brand.
